Lakeview Elementary Kindergarteners Learning to Bike in Gym
Kindergarteners at Lakeview Elementary have been zipping up and down the halls as part of a unit in their physical education classes where they learn how to ride a bicycle.

District’s Ninth Elementary School Officially Named ‘Highview Elementary’
Highview Elementary will be the name of the District’s ninth elementary school, as officially announced at the Regular Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, December 13.

Students Create Hydraulic-Powered Machines to Collect Candy
Eighth graders in Ms. Jodi Bray’s STEM class at Century Middle School held a competition to see who could collect the most candy with hydraulic-powered wooden machines they designed and built themselves.

On Wed., Nov. 9, Orchard Lake Elementary 4th grade students in Carol Metz’s music class performed a sing-a-long at Kingsley Shores Senior Community.

Students Create Day of the Dead Display at Kenwood Trail Middle School
Students in a Spanish Heritage Speakers class at Kenwood Trail Middle School have created a Day of the Dead display. Day of the Dead is celebrated annually November 1 and November 2 to remember and honor families, friends, pets and all loved ones who have passed away.
