Lakeville Area Schools residents are invited to apply for membership on the district’s Finance Advisory Council. The district is accepting applications through June 8 for four parent/guardian/resident positions. The council will also include four designated district staff positions. All applicants should generally have some expertise in financial matters and budgeting.

The purpose of the Finance Advisory Council is to ensure community participation and community understanding of the school district’s financial planning processes, and to provide input to the Administration on budget planning that supports the school district’s goals. The Finance Advisory Council meets at least four times per year at the school district office in Lakeville from 5-6 p.m.

People interested in being considered for membership on the Finance Advisory Council should submit an online application by June 8.
