During the Nov. 14 Work Session, the Lakeville Area Board of Education was briefed on various topics. The district's financial advisor, Ehlers, presented a report on the presale of general obligation bonds for the Long-Term Facility Maintenance plan. Additionally, the board received updates on the district's facility use program for the 2023-24 school year. Discussions also covered student management procedures, including the development process.

The Board of Education was also provided with a comprehensive district data update and a Fiscal Year 24 budget update. The board also reviewed School Board Policy 424 and School Board Policy 514, and had a discussion on the board's public engagement process and policy committee.
