PANTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS: Tuesday, November 23, 2021

Message from Principal Budde:

Good Morning Panthers! This is Ms. Budde. Would you please join me in the Pledge of Allegiance? I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Our Covid county numbers, as well as local numbers, continue to climb and that means that we continue to be required to wear masks. We will be able to stop wearing masks when our numbers are below 50 for two weeks...our county number last week was 89.1. As members of this community, it is all of our responsibility to wear masks to help ensure that our community spread numbers go down and we can return to life without a mask. I appreciate those of you that honored the mask mandate. I ask all of you to please be kind and wear your masks. Stay home if you are sick or are waiting for the results of a covid test. We want everyone to be healthy while they are at school, so take care of yourselves and others! Finally, we will not have an advisory this week. IF you are dependent on that time for studying, please plan to do some extra study and planning tonight.

In addition, this is a week that many people take time to reflect on the year and express what they are grateful for. While 2021 has had its share of challenges, I suspect if you took a little time to reflect, you would find many things for which you are grateful. Perhaps, over your long weekend, you could find the opportunity to write, call, text, or communicate with someone that you are grateful for and let them know how important they are to you. It doesn’t have to be a long message, just a chance to say “Thank you”. I know that you will feel good and the person receiving the message will feel awesome.

I know that I am grateful to the students, teachers, staff, parents, and this community for teaching me every single day. I know that together we are stronger.

Remember to stay healthy, be grateful, and it’s a great day to be a Panther!
