Extended Hours for In-Person Early Voting This Week!

Don’t wait until Nov. 7 to vote on the referendum- there are extended hours this week at the district office so you can vote early at a time convenient for you. Early voting is available for all residents now with extended hours: Tuesday, Oct. 31 through Friday, Nov. 3, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 4, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Monday, Nov. 6, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  But if you’d rather vote on Nov. 7, be sure to find your election day polling location based on your home address. All voting information is available here.

  • If voters approve the referendum, we will accommodate the needs of our growing school community by thoughtfully and planfully opening and operating Highview Elementary, the new 750-student elementary school next fall. We’ll have the means to support K-12 students’ mental health, behavior and academic needs in a more consistent manner, as well as the ability to attract and maintain highly qualified staff to support our students. The tax impact for an average homeowner ($465,000 value home) would be about $15 per month.

  • If the vote does not pass, our urgent needs would persist. We will need to find ways to manage the overcrowding, such as increased class sizes, program changes and/or temporary boundary changes. Essential K-12 mental health, behavioral and academic support services would be limited further, hindering the growth and success of students. Meanwhile, our community will continue to grow.
