League of Women Voters of Dakota County Will Host a Virtual Candidate Forum for the Lakeville Area School Board Special Election

Virtual School Board Candidate Forum on Oct. 20, 7 p.m.

The League of Women Voters of Dakota County will host a virtual forum for candidates seeking election to the Lakeville Area Schools Board of Education on October 20, 7-8 p.m. You can watch the forum live at: Spectrum Cable channel 188 and live-streamed on our district’s LETV. It will also be available for viewing until election day on Spectrum Cable, on video on demand at LETV, and LWV Dakota County’s website and social media. 

Four candidates are seeking election to the school board, and one seat is being filled in this special election.

Questions for the candidates will be accepted through October 13 via email to lwvdakotacty@lwvmn.org. Please identify Lakeville Area School District 194 when you submit your question.

Voting Information

The School Board election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 2. District voters can vote by absentee ballot, by early voting and at their school district voting precinct on Election Day. For more information go to our Elections page.
