ESSER III Required Reporting: 2021-22 Safe Return to Learning Plan
July 15, 2021
Lakeville Area Schools has posted its 2021-22 Safe Return to Learning Plan, which is one of the reporting requirements of the American Rescue Plan funding, also known as ESSER III. Lakeville Area Schools will be offering full-time, in-person learning for all students for the 2021-22 school year. In accordance with guidance from the Minnesota Department of Education and Minnesota Department of Health, our plan includes academic recovery programming and other learning supports, as well as health and safety measures to help mitigate COVID-19. Please note, this plan is subject to change based upon any future guidance from our state agencies.
Throughout the 2020-21 school year we engaged the Lakeville Area community as we responded to the COVID-19 pandemic. The feedback from our students, staff, families and community was essential throughout the past school year as the pandemic fluctuated, as well as for the production of the 2021-22 Safe Return to Learning Plan.
As the District prepares to welcome back students this Fall, the community is welcome to review our plan and share feedback here. The feedback survey will be open through August 15.
We are committed to providing world-class learning for every student in a safe and healthy environment. The district and its schools will continue to provide our community with information and updates for the 2021-22 school year.
