Bullying Prevention
A safe, predictable, and nurturing environment is essential for students to thrive personally, socially, and academically. Bullying, like other violent or disruptive behavior, is conduct that interferes with a student’s ability to learn and/or a teacher’s ability to educate students in a safe environment. Both victims and perpetrators of bullying behavior often have negative, lasting impacts. Lakeville Area Schools is committed to fostering environments that result in all students feeling valued and connected to others in the school setting.
Below are several resources for students and families to utilize as we work to prevent and respond to incidents of bullying.
Reporting Process
If you believe your child has been a victim of bullying, please contact your school administrator or school counselor immediately. All reports will be thoroughly investigated by school and district administration. If you prefer to remain anonymous, please use the District’s anonymous tip reporting tool.
If concerns involve building administration, please contact Executive Director of Student Services, Michelle Humphrey, at Michelle.Humphrey@isd194.org or 952-232-2017.
Anonymous Tip Reporting
Lakeville Area Schools is committed to the safety of our students, staff and community. If you see something, say something, do something. You can submit an anonymous tip, one of the many safety measures in place to keep our schools safe. Learn more about how to submit tips on our Anonymous Tip Reporting page.
Our anonymous tip reporting tool is not an emergency 911 service. If emergency assistance is required, always and immediately contact 911.
