Security and Emergency Management
Security Emergency Management (SEM) is committed to supporting safe and welcoming learning and work environments for students, families, staff, and the community. SEM addresses four main areas:
- Policies and Procedures
- Mental Health
- Security measures
Anonymous Tip Reporting
We are committed to creating an inclusive and positive climate in all of our schools, where all students feel comfortable, safe, and ready to learn. Part of this is staying aware of what's happening in our schools and facilities. If you see something, say something. We always encourage our community to share and report concerns directly with school leaders.
The district provides an anonymous reporting tool called P3 Campus to make it easier to report concerns. We encourage the use of P3 Campus for circumstances where individuals may feel uncomfortable addressing concerns directly with school and district leaders. Lakeville Area Schools uses P3 Campus to help identify and mitigate potential risks within our schools. The system provides our students, staff, parents and community members with an easily accessible and anonymous method of reporting any issue of concern, incident or at-risk behavior.
Submit a Tip Through the Website
To report a situation that may harm you or a member of our school community, report it anonymously online at the P3 Campus website.
Submit a Tip on the Mobile App
You can also download the P3 Campus mobile app for your Android or Apple device. Upon opening the app for the first time, you will set up your own 4-digit pin number. Then you will select your location and then your school. From there you can select what kind of tip you are reporting and anonymously submit it.
Download the app at either of the links below.
P3 Campus is not an emergency 911 service. If emergency assistance is required, always and immediately contact 911.
School Resource Officers / Lakeville Police Department
The division of Business Services works closely with the Lakeville Police Department (LPD) to keep students and schools safe through the School Resource Officer (SRO) program. This partnership provides licensed law enforcement officers to work with high schools and provide LPD liaisons at buildings throughout the district.
SROs play an important role in helping students develop positive behavioral skills, as well as keeping buildings safe and investigating complaints as needed. SROs often mentor and counsel students. They act as mediators when disagreements arise. SROs are also train teachers and staff to identify and deal with emerging safety issues.
