Orchard Lake Elementary is a K-5 school community of about 360 students. We seek to support the whole child as they grow and develop academically, socially, emotionally and civically. We want our students to be supported with a growth mindset that provides them the opportunity to engage their learning.
Our work with students is grounded in the belief that each child deserves a personalized approach to their learning so they can fully develop a growth mindset about their future. Our staff is passionate about building relationships with students and families to meet individual needs. We focus on the development of respect, responsibility, safety and kindness. Our families are passionate about creating a strong sense of community and serve our school in many different ways.
This winter, students in the Adult Basic Education (ABE) program have been taking field trips to the Heritage Public Library in Lakeville, learning about the many resources available to them within our community.
This week, January 23-29, we are celebrating Paraprofessional Recognition Week in Lakeville Area Schools. Paraprofessionals provide a variety of services that support student learning.
