Nominate a Student or Staff of the Month
We are thrilled to announce that our Students and Staff of the Month recognition programs are now open for nominations from EVERYONE in the Lakeville Area Schools community–students, staff, families and community members!
In the past, these nomination forms were only open to Lakeville Area Schools staff members, but we are revamping these recognition programs for the 2024-25 school year to increase the number of nominations and hear about the amazing things our students and staff are doing from a variety of perspectives.

Student of the Month Nominations
Every month we will review your nominations and choose three students to be recognized as a Student of the Month. The Superintendent will visit each student and hand them a certificate and a 'Way-to-Go-Kiddo' gift basket that includes gift items assembled by the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce and Visit Lakeville.
What qualifies a student to be selected as a Student of the Month?
Every student has something unique that makes them awesome. We encourage you to use this as an opportunity to recognize someone who has not been recognized in other ways. You could nominate a student for having great worth ethic, strong leadership skills, small acts of kindness, great attitude, accomplishing goals, persevering through something challenging, or just about anything else that you think they should be highlighted for.
Nominate a Student of the Month
Staff of the Month Nominations
Each month, staff nominated will be reviewed and two staff members will be selected and highlighted across the district. The superintendent will visit each staff member and present them with a certificate and a gift card donated by the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce and Visit Lakeville.
What qualifies an employee to be selected as a Staff of the Month?
A Staff of the Month could be selected for a number of reasons such as having great worth ethic, strong leadership skills, small acts of kindness, great work attitude, accomplishing goals, persevering through something challenging, etc. Whatever the reason may be, we want to hear about it and give that employee a shoutout for their good work!
