- Academics
Two Lakeville South High School 10th grade students have been elected to serve on the Minnesota HOSA–Future Health Professionals (HOSA-FHP) officer team for the 2025–26 academic year. Jack Trygstad and Shawn Nierenhausen will represent Lakeville Area Schools in their respective statewide leadership roles.

At the April 22 meeting, the school board heard a student-led presentation on chemistry learning and college credit, approved several updated policies, reviewed new policy proposals, received a data analytics update, continued goal-setting discussions, and heard reports on gifted education and principal hiring.
- Athletics
This year’s St. Paul Area Athena Award recipients from Lakeville Area Schools have been announced. Congratulations to Avery Sandmann from Lakeville South High School and Olivia Grecco from Lakeville North High School.

Six student athletes at Lakeville North High School participated in a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Signing Day Ceremony.
- Arts/Activities
Two Century Middle School students, Adelaide Mlodzik and Sydney Mlodzik, recently qualified as World Martial Arts Committee (WMAC) Team USA members.
