School Board Election - November 3, 2026

On November ​3, Lakeville Area Schools residents will elect ​f​our people to the school board. Up for election ​are the seat​s currently occupied by ​Vice Chair Dr. Carly Anderson, Clerk Kim Baker, Treasurer Tony Reichenberger, and Director Brian Thompson. The elected candidates will take office in January 202​7 and serve a four-year term.

Minnesota Permanent School Fund Constitutional Amendment on Nov. 3 Ballot

Also on the ballot this November, Minnesota voters will see a statewide constitutional amendment that updates how earnings from the state’s Permanent School Fund are distributed to public schools. If approved, the change will modernize the fund’s payout formula to increase funding for local school districts starting July 1, 2027, without raising property, sales or income taxes.
