Voting Information
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To find out where you vote (voting is based on your home address), use the polling place finder on the Secretary of State’s website, which also includes information about early voting and how to register to vote. All election day voting will take place at the designated polling locations, not at early voting locations. You can view a sample ballot here.
Early Voting Begins Friday, Sept. 20.
Early Voting In-Person
Early voting begins on Friday, Sept. 20 through Nov. 4. Lakeville residents can vote in-person at Lakeville City Hall or Dakota County Government Center. Elko New Market residents can vote in-person early at Elko New Market City Hall or Scott County Government Center. You can locate specific information about early voting in-person, including locations and hours, by visiting the Secretary of State’s website.
