School Board

We believe that communication and understanding among all stakeholders is essential to meeting our vision. To best serve you, the displayed flowchart provides the recommended communication sequence for families and staff. For families, in most situations, questions and/or concerns regarding your student are best and most quickly addressed by communicating with your student's teacher or school principal. For staff, concerns and questions should be addressed by communicating with your direct supervisor. Please note, Lakeville Area School Board directors may redirect individuals who contact them to follow this chain of communication.

The Lakeville Area School Board is a governing and policy-making school board. Governance or policy-related questions and/or concerns can be emailed to schoolboard@isd194.org or can be discussed by attending a stakeholder session. Emails sent to the School Board email address are sent to all seven board directors. Emails are responded to by the Board Chairperson on behalf of all seven school board directors. 

Note: The Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent and executive staff receive a copy of email correspondence sent to the Lakeville Area School Board.

In addition to meetings of the full School Board, school board directors are also involved in other councils, advisories and affiliations.
