If it passes

There will be no new tax increase.

  • Sustain approximately $4 million annually for 10 years for  capital project purposes.

  • Maintain staff and student devices, educational technology infrastructure, and security technology.

  • Continue to invest in career pathways and STEM education opportunities.

Specifically, this levy funds standard building and classroom technology including projectors, TVs, device management and cybersecurity systems, security camera servers, security badge scanners, as well as 5.5 full-time employees to manage these systems.

These funds also provide a variety of equipment and software for K-12 STEM education and career-focused courses at both high schools, including architecture, engineering, food service, forensics, graphic design, manufacturing, music production, robotics and more.

If it fails

If the renewal fails, the district would need to cut $4 million from the annual budget beginning in the 2026-27 school year.

  • Maintenance of student and staff devices, educational and security technology would be delayed, leading to reduced physical and cybersecurity.

  • Maintenance of equipment and software for STEM and career pathways courses would be delayed, and broken equipment may not be fixed, limiting opportunities for students.

  • Reductions would be made to school and department budgets, operational support staff positions, and elective courses.
