At the January 13, 2026 school board meeting the school board approved models E1 and M1 attendance area adjustments for the 2026-27 school year (view the accompanying slidedeck here).
Families can use our Interactive Attendance Area Map Tool to find their assigned school for the 2026-27 school year. Select the 2026-27 proposed elementary or middle school map and enter your address to find your school. Learn more about enrolling in Lakeville Area Schools.

Kindergarten Information Events
In the exciting months leading up to kindergarten, parents and their children will be able to attend several information events. Parents/guardians are invited to learn about the Lakeville kindergarten experience every fall, winter and spring.
Our next upcoming kindergarten events are our Winter Kindergarten Information Nights, taking place at each elementary in January 2026. Learn more below.
Winter Kindergarten Information Nights
Winter Kindergarten Information Nights are for parents/guardians and are held in person by the school your child will attend. Parents/guardians at Kindergarten Information Nights will have an opportunity to meet the principal and kindergarten teachers at their building. Representatives from Kid Zone, district nurses, and Schmitty & Sons Bus Company representatives will be available to answer questions.
Jan. 7, 2026 Update: With upcoming adjustments to elementary and middle school attendance areas, incoming kindergarten families are welcome to attend the Winter Kindergarten Information Night at the school their residence is currently assigned to, or the school they may be reassigned to.
