Upcoming adjustments to elementary and middle school attendance areas

The district is currently in the process of making adjustments to elementary and middle school attendance areas. This means that the school your residence is assigned to may change. The new attendance areas are expected to be approved by the school board in January. An attendance area proposal will be brought to the school board on December 16.

Enrollment forms for the 2026-27 school year will be available after January 1, 2026. However, please be aware that enrollments will not be processed until attendance areas are finalized.

Intra-District Transfer is for students who live in the boundaries of Lakeville Area Schools who apply to attend a school other than their attendance area boundary school.

Lakeville Area Schools' available capacity are based on student enrollment and capacities limits and are subject to change. The available capacity will be used in determining available seats for Open Enrollment and Intra-District Transfer application approvals. If you have questions, please email enroll@isd194.org.

Available (Green) - All applications will be reviewed, and approvals will be based on space availability
Limited (Yellow) - Applications with a priority of 1-9 will be reviewed, and fewer approvals are anticipated
At Capacity (Red) - Applications may still be submitted, but approvals are not anticipated

Application Process

Families wishing to apply for Intra-District Transfer for the 2025-2026 school year may complete Step 1 and Step 2 of the Application process.
