Intra-District Transfer Application Deadlines

*Applications prior to January 31 will be notified via email whether your application was accepted or moved to the next window on February 13. If your application is moved to the next window it is not an indicator that it will be declined. It is a standard part of our planning process which allows our enrollment team to review accurate, real-time enrollment changes and ensure equitable opportunities for IDT in the district.

Application Process

Families wishing to apply for Intra-District Transfer may complete Step 1 and Step 2 of the Application process.

The next deadline to apply for IDT is March 31, 2026, and you will be notified whether you are accepted or moved to the next window on April 17. IDT applications will be processed in the order they are received.

Please note that due to the high volume of IDT applications we are receiving, you might not hear back from the Enrollment department right away. We appreciate your patience.

Please also note that starting with IDT applications approved for the 2026-27 school, families must reapply for IDT when their student is transitioning into 6th and 9th grade. Approvals are subject to space available at building and grade levels based on priority guidelines.

In accordance with ISD 194 Policy 536 (Intra-District Transfer), Section C-4, the District reserves the right to modify the application process when it determines such changes are appropriate.
