New K-8 School Attendance Area Adjustments Approved for the 2026-27 School Year
Lakeville Area School Board approves K-8 attendance area adjustments models E1 and M1 for the 2026-27 school year
At the January 13, 2026 school board meeting the school board approved models E1 and M1 attendance area adjustments for the 2026-27 school year (view the accompanying slidedeck here).
Attendance areas need to change because some of our schools are too full, while others have space available. Adjusting attendance areas helps spread students more evenly across our schools so that every student has enough room to learn and grow.
The approved adjustments will:
- Provide space for future growth in fast-growing neighborhoods
- Maintain diverse and balanced student populations across our schools
- Ensure students and staff have the space they need to teach and learn successfully
