• November 2024 School Board Election

    On November 5, Lakeville area voters will elect three members to the school board. Elected school board members will assume office in January 2025 and serve a four-year term. The candidate filing period is open July 30, 2024 through August 13, 2024.

    Up for election are the seats of David Anderson, Judy Keliher, and Terry Lind. Elected board members will assume office in January 2025 and serve a four-year term.

Lakeville Area residents who are interested in learning more about becoming a School Board member are encouraged to check out this video and attend a meeting to learn more about the role and responsibilities of school board members.

    • August 8, 2024 at 6 p.m. at the District Office


    Candidate Filing Opens July 30 

    Residents are invited to submit an Affidavit of Candidacy on the Secretary of State's website between July 30 and August 13 at 5 p.m. File your Affidavit of Candidacy, along with a $2 filing fee at the Lakeville Area Schools District Office. Candidates must be eligible voters, at least 21 years old when the term begins, and residents of Lakeville Area Schools within 30 days before the election.
