Summer School Credit Recovery, Grades 10-12

Summer School Credit Recovery for grades 10-12 will be offered at Lakeville Pathways Academy Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. This program provides short but intense classes for high school students who are behind in credits and to enhance students’ ability in a specific area of study. All students must be referred to Summer Credit Recovery by their dean, counselor, or principal and must meet the state criteria for entering Lakeville Pathways Academy. Students are able to make up credits in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

There is not an online option for this program. Students should bring their district-issued iPad to class and will be expected to attend each day until they finish the class.  Transportation will not be provided.

Registration Process

If registering in-person at the Lakeville Pathways Academy, the summer school registration hours are 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. If you or the student are unable to get to the Credit Recovery on these days or times, please give us a call at 952-232-3900.

Summer Learning Lab for Grades K-7

Summer Learning Lab is a Program, invitation only, for current K-7 students. The program is offered for identified elementary and middle students and is held at specific schools over the summer. This program runs in June and July. Dates to be arranged.

Learning Lab provides targeted instruction in literacy (phonics and comprehension) and math (number sense and problem solving) along with Social Emotional Learning (SEL) support. This is an opportunity for students struggling in the traditional school environment to receive supplemental instruction in order to strive towards decreasing proficiency gaps. It is intended to be an intervention/prevention program that focuses on the whole child for at risk students in grades K-7. Instructors will use an integrated approach for students to strengthen their understanding of key concepts and make connections across subject areas by being exposed to small group learning rotations. The curriculum will be standards aligned including an emphasis on the most essential standards from the grade-level. 

Learning Lab is a no cost program.

The DEN Middle School Summer Program

The DEN is a full-day, middle school-exclusive summer program designed specifically for students entering grades 6-8. This exciting program provides a safe, welcoming environment where participants can stay active, unplug from their devices, build friendships and make the most of their summer.

Students will have opportunities to explore their creativity and curiosity through STEM challenges, art enrichment projects and hands-on activities. They will also spend time in the FACS Lab creating easy, fun and healthy snacks while learning valuable life skills. The DEN encourages students to take ownership of their experience by helping choose daily activities and activities that interest them throughout the summer.

In addition to engaging enrichment opportunities, participants will enjoy super fun field trips throughout the summer and open swim twice each week. Whether they're creating, exploring, learning, or simply having fun with friends, The DEN offers middle school students a summer filled with adventure, connection and unforgettable memories.

Summer Adventures for Students Entering Grades 1-6

Summer Adventures is a child care and enrichment program for children entering grades 1-6. The program offers fun activities, learning experiences and exciting adventures. Children may participate full time or part time throughout the summer. Summer Adventures is available to children in Lakeville Area Schools and surrounding areas.

Small Wonders Alphabet Adventures at Orchard Lake Elementary School

June 16th - August 20th

At Alphabet Adventures Summer Camp, we know that play is a child's most important work. Our expertly designed program keeps little hands busy and minds engaged with delightful, hands-on activities. Students will engage in foundational literacy and fun! Through engaging games, sensory bins, and creative projects, your child will master letter identification, phonics skills, and pre-writing practice. From messy sensory stations and imaginative role-playing to outdoor games and art explorations, we provide a nurturing environment where your child can grow, laugh and learn through doing. 

Whether you are a brand new preschooler or a returning preschooler, these classes will provide young learners with the opportunity to develop their creativity and discover the world around them. For returning preschoolers, these classes will offer your child the routine they have learned through the school year and for new preschoolers, these classes will help your child start the new school year with confidence! No class July 7,8 and 9.

Summer 2026 Wonder Zone at Orchard Lake Elementary

Join Summer Wonder Zone, a child care and enrichment program for children ages 3-6 years by Sept. 1 and who are able to toilet independently. Summer Wonder Zone offers a fun-filled, full day of child care and learning experiences. The curriculum incorporates summer fun as well as art, science, physical education, literacy, music, computers and more.

Summer 2026 Wonder Zone child care programming will be held at Orchard Lake Elementary (16531 Klamath Trail, Lakeville) due to renovations at CLEC.

Twenty scholarships to this fee-based program are available for students who are at least three by June 1st, inclusive of those entering kindergarten in the fall.

ECFE at the Heritage Library this Summer

Join ECFE staff and meet friends at the Heritage Library for story times this summer! No registration required. An ECFE licensed Parent Educator will be available to connect and answer parenting questions at the end of story time.
