Eligibility Requirements

There are different eligibility requirements depending on the division a student decides to participate in at the collegiate level.

Students who intend to play on a varsity team at a DI or DII institution must meet the NCAA’s eligibility requirements and abide by recruiting guidelines. These requirements include:

  • Registering online with the eligibility center
  • Successful completion of core curriculum of at least 16 specified “core courses”
  • Meeting admission test score requirements
  • Requesting official transcript upload to eligibility center account with proof of graduation
 

How to Register for the Eligibility Center

Click or scan the “NCAA Eligibility Center” and select the option that best fits your current status and future goals. If a student needs a fee waiver to register for an “Academic and Amateurism Certification Account” please reach out to your school’s administrative office.
