ReadBasix Capti

Required subtests: Word Recognition & Decoding, Vocabulary, Morphology, Reading Efficiency, Sentence Processing and Reading Comprehension
ReadBasix Capti is administered when a student is below the district threshold. Because students may meet the threshold after any FastBridge window, Capti may occur in fall, winter and spring. For exmaple, a student may not meet the threshold during Fall screening, but does meet the threshold during Winter screening.

Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA)

Math: Grades 3-8 and 11.

*Science: Grades 5, 8 and 10. Eligible students in grades 9, 11 and 12 who are taking or retaking Biology, AP Biology and other identified concurrent life science courses are also required to participate.

MCA Online Window: March 8 - May 7, all subjects, all grade levels.

MTAS/Alt MCA/MCA Paper Window: March 8 - April 30, all subjects, all grade levels.
