Please continue to refer back to this page for continuous information updates and due dates for senior and graduation requirements. All senior students should check their school email often to help keep themselves updated on events and graduation.

Prom
Saturday, May 18, 2024
8pm - 11pm
Prom Location: Pinstripes, Edina
Grand March will be at Lakeville North in the Main Gym. Time will be determined at a later date, but will occur between approximately 4pm-8pm.Tickets will be purchased through the Hometown App. There will be a link in the Panther Announcements in addition to QR Codes posted around the school!
Grand March is a ceremony held prior to Prom that gives students an opportunity to show off their outfits and pose for a photo. This will be an event where families and friends are welcome. Each couple or group will be officially announced, and have the chance to walk through a beautiful, decorated arch. Students will sign up for a specific time slot on a Google form. Participation is optional and there is no additional cost.
Note - This event is open to all Juniors and Seniors at LNHS and for Sophomores, they are attending as the date of a Junior or Senior. This event is NOT open to Freshmen.

ALL Seniors must complete their SENIOR SURVEY online for commencement/graduation. Please be as accurate as possible and enter the correct pronunciation for announcing student names.
All fees and fines must be paid, and students' JOB SHADOWS MUST be completed before students are allowed to pick up their cap and gowns on May 22, 2024.

Students will drive themselves to Brackett's Crossing. There will be a staff speaker and some student performers (including Now and Then) at the Brunch.
Graduation Rehearsal
9:30am in LNHS Main Gym
Attendance is REQUIRED and attendance will be taken
Senior Panoramic will be taken promptly at 9:30am!
Baccalaureate Service
Wednesday, June 5, 2024
7:00-8:15pm
Lakeville NORTH High School Auditorium
All senior students are invited to this non-denominational service. This service is not required, but optional. Seniors should wear their graduation gown, but NOT their graduation cap.
Lakeville graduating seniors, their families and the public are invited to the annual Baccalaureate Service sponsored by local churches and ministries. The combined LSHS and LNHS event features worship, student speakers and a message from the faith community. In addition to family, the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Commencement Ceremony
University of Minnesota campus, Mariucci
Thursday, June 6, 20245:00pm
All seniors should arrive at LNHS between 3 - 3:15pm. Buses will depart promptly at 3:15pm.
Admission tickets will NOT be required to attend the graduation commencement, and there will be open seating.
Senior students ride the LNHS BUS to commencement and ride WITH PARENTS to RETURN home.Contact student's Dean with any questions.

College & Scholarship Letters of Recommendation
Students can request their Dean or teachers to write a Recommendation Letter for college and/or scholarship recommendation. Students should complete an informational form (below) for the teacher/Dean in order to write a letter.
Please allow two weeks for the letters to be completed. It is suggested students pick up these letters when they are completed for scholarship mailings if a physical mailing is needed. For college admissions, scholarships, and other college or scholarship forms required, students should visit the Career Center website.College Letter of Recommendation Letter Forms

Job Shadow Information
Senior Job Shadow DAY: March 12, 2024
Online Job Shadow Form & Senior Interview are DUE: March 13, 2024
Senior Job Shadow is a graduation requirement.
All senior students should attend their Job Shadow Day on March 12, 2024 which is a Digital Learning Day.
Students set up their Job Shadow day themselves with a Mentor who should have a job position in the student's career field of interest. (Non-family member).
Students also need to have their Mentors complete the ONLINE SENIOR INTERVIEW (below)
The following day, March 8, the online JOB SHADOW FORM and SENIOR INTERVIEW sheet are due, March 13, 2024 by 3pm.
The student Job Shadow Form online (below) should be completed at home after spending the student spends the day with their Mentor.Students CANNOT miss class time to complete this graduation requirement. However, if there are other days that work better for the Mentor, Job Shadow can be done on any of the school days that LNHS does NOT have classes in session. However, the due date remains March 13, 2024 by 3pm.
COMPLETE the TWO following requirements for the Senior Job Shadow Day. BOTH items are due March13, 2024 by 3pm:
1) JOB SHADOW FORM
- To assist with the Questions on the Form, students sign into your student school Gmail account.
- Use MCIS to assist with the Job Shadow questions on the form
- Once in students' Gmail accounts, students can then select "Clever" in order to use their MCIS account
Job Shadow "Questions", students log into their MCIS account:
- Login using Clever using students' Gmail school email account user and password: https://clever.com/in/isd194
- Select “Login with Google”. If needed, enter ISD194 Google login information--do not use personal email (Google) accounts.
- Select the “Minnesota Career Information System” icon (lighthouse icon) MCIS.
- Students should now be logged into MCIS. Be sure their name is in the upper right corner of the screen and answer the Job Shadow questions.
2) SENIOR INTERVIEW FORM
- Students' mentor completes ONLINE form (below) and conducts a mock "interview" with student at the beginning of the Job Shadow day.
- Mentors may use this ONLINE form or print this form and give it back to the student before they leave their Job Shadow day. The student then turns the form in to the LNHS Career Center.

Selective Service Information
All senior male students must register with the selective service system through the National High School Registrars program. Visit: www.sss.gov
Registrars reinforce the importance of registering with Selective Service to qualify for student loans and grants, job training and federal employment. Registrars also direct students to register online.
