Prom
Saturday, May 13, 2023

3849 Gallagher Dr, Edina, MN 55435The LNHS Prom will be held on Saturday, May 13th, from 8pm -11pm, at Pinstripes in Edina.

Grand March will be at Lakeville North in the Main Gym. Time will be determined at a later date, but will occur between approximately 4pm-6pm.Tickets will be purchased through the Hometown App. There will be a link in the Panther Announcements in addition to QR Codes posted around the school!
Grand March is a ceremony held prior to Prom that gives students an opportunity to show off their outfits and pose for a photo. This will be an event where families and friends are welcome. Each couple or group will be officially announced, and have the chance to walk through a beautiful, decorated arch. Students will sign up for a specific time slot on a Google form. Participation is optional and there is no additional cost. Time frame is TBD but likely 4-6pm.

All fees and fines must be paid, and students' Job Shadows MUST be completed before they are allowed to pick up their cap and gowns on May 25th.

Senior Posters

Due May, 2023If you are interested in making a Senior Poster for your graduate, below are the highlights of what you need to know:MAKE:
*Seniors can make their own or create a digital one through Cornerstone Copy
*See attached PDF for detailed instructions
SHARE:
*The committee will pick them up from Cornerstone Copy. Have your poster completed and submitted to ensure printing and laminating, or students can drop off posters at LNHS main entrance in the wooden cart. (do not leave them on the reception desk)
*LNHS will display posters in the cafeteria during the last week of school.
TAKE HOME:
*Seniors should take their posters home, from the Commons, on their LAST DAY of school. Or, the student can pick them up from a cart near the main entrance when they come for graduation rehearsal on Wednesday June 8th.
*Remaining posters will be placed near the main entrance. They will be discarded after that date!

Senior Brunch
Brackett's Crossing Country Club
Wednesday, June 7, 2023Students drive themselves to Brackett's and dress nicely.
Cost of $35, which includes the Senior T-shirt, ($25 brunch only and $10 t-shirt only)
T-shirt worn the last day of school.Buffet includes: fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles, pastries
Reservations MUST BE MADE using this google form and payment made to School Store prior to May 15th. No late reservations will be accepted!!!
In the School Store (in Infinite Campus), log in and then choose LNHS, Activities and you should see Senior Brunch.

Baccalaureate Service
Wednesday, June 7, 2023
7:00-8:15pm
Lakeville SOUTH High School Auditorium
All senior students are invited to this non-denominational service. This service is not required, but optional. Seniors should wear their graduation gown, but NOT their graduation cap.
Lakeville graduating seniors, their families and the public are invited to the annual Baccalaureate Service sponsored by local churches and ministries. The combined LSHS and LNHS event features worship, student speakers and a message from the faith community. In addition to family, the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

All seniors should arrive at LNHS between 5-5:15pm. Buses will depart promptly.
Admission tickets will NOT be required to attend the graduation commencement, and there will be open seating.
Senior students ride the bus from LNHS TO Graduation and ride WITH PARENTS to return home.Contact student Dean with any questions.

College & Scholarship Letters of Recommendation
Students can request their Dean or teachers to write a Recommendation Letter for college and/or scholarship recommendation. Students should complete an informational form (below) for the teacher/Dean in order to write a letter.
Please allow two weeks for the letters to be completed. It is suggested students pick up these letters when they are completed for scholarship mailings if a physical mailing is needed. Job Shadow Information
Senior Job Shadow 2023
Job Shadow Form DUE: March 8, 2023 by 3pm
All Seniors must complete a Job Shadow in order to graduate. March 7, 2023, is designated as Job Shadow Day, as it will be a Digital Day. If students cannot schedule their Job Shadow for March 8, parents must excuse them from classes through attendance.
Senior students need to complete the Job Shadow Form (below) after attending their Job Shadow in-person/virtually (using the pandemic requirements), or by viewing an Occupational Video of their chosen career using students MCIS account.
If Seniors wish to view a Career Video for their Job Shadow requirement, they must follow the steps below and then complete the Job Shadow Form.
- Sign into your school Gmail Account using Clever
- Select '"Log into MCIS,"
- Scroll over “Occupations” for the drop down menu
- Select the drop down menu… “Occupations”, Titles Index
- Review the occupation title for your chosen career, and select the career title that has a film strip icon to view your video
- Watch your occupation video
- Using MCIS answer the Job Shadow Packet Form question, and submit the form

Selective Service Information
All senior male students must register with the selective service system through the National High School Registrars program. Visit: www.sss.gov
Registrars reinforce the importance of registering with Selective Service to qualify for student loans and grants, job training and federal employment. Registrars also direct students to register online.
