Winter Open Swim Dates

McGuire Middle School Pool

Important Information

• Swimmers must bring their own suits and towels.
• Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices may be used. NO inflatables will be allowed.
• Those who cannot swim the width of the pool must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult.
• Swimmers may use approved goggles.
• Locker rooms are available for use.
• Children who are not potty trained are required to wear a disposable swim diaper.
• Review “Pool Rules” prior to attending open swim.

Lap Lanes and Special Requests

Lap lanes are available by request during open swim hours at McGuire Middle School. Please request a lap lane from the lifeguard when you arrive.

Adult Lap Swim Only

Lap Swim is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-10 am at Century Middle School. Pre-registration is required. Click  HERE to register.

Location

Open swims take place at McGuire Middle School Pool (21220 Holyoke Ave W, Lakeville) OR Century Middle School Pool (18610 Ipava Ave). Please confirm the location in your confirmation email after registration.

Open Swim Fee

$5 Youth, $7 Adult
Children under 2 are free, but must be registered.
Pre-Registration is required. No drop-ins allowed at this time.

Groups over 10 for Open Swim must call 952-232-2169 or email katey.radant@isd194.org in advance of attending.

You can also reserve the cafeteria (availability limited) during open swim, for just a $15 Facility Use Application Fee. Check cafeteria availability online HERE. Insurance coverage is required with cafeteria usage.

Lap Swim is offered on most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-10 am at the Blanchard Aquatic Center at Century Middle School. Confirm dates and pre-register HERE. This is an independent lap swim. Kickboard and pull buoy available for use.

Looking for something earlier?

The Storm Swim Club offers morning workouts on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 5:45-7 a.m. at Century Middle School Pool, from September – May. A US Masters membership is required as well as a $30 monthly fee. This is a great group of swimmers. Come on in before work and gain fitness and friendship.
