Orchard Lake Elementary is a K-5 school community of about 360 students. We seek to support the whole child as they grow and develop academically, socially, emotionally and civically. We want our students to be supported with a growth mindset that provides them the opportunity to engage their learning.
Our work with students is grounded in the belief that each child deserves a personalized approach to their learning so they can fully develop a growth mindset about their future. Our staff is passionate about building relationships with students and families to meet individual needs. We focus on the development of respect, responsibility, safety and kindness. Our families are passionate about creating a strong sense of community and serve our school in many different ways.
June's Students of the Month are Colton Anselment from Orchard Lake Elementary, Nardos Zenebe from McGuire Middle School, and Carter Klose from Lakeville North High School.
Retiring staff joined their family, friends and colleagues on May 25 at Century Middle School for a retirement ceremony honoring their service to the district.
Lakeville Area Schools will be conducting a community survey through early June to further assess community values and desires, as well as potential levy components.
